The Everygirl is a "lifestyle" blog that is more geared towards the career driven woman. Posts are updated multiple times a day on topics from beauty, to culture, career,wellness, travel, beauty and more. There is a wealth of content on the Everygirl site informing woman and giving a visual about what it is like to live a stylish, meaningful, and healthy life, and that is what I love about it. There is a nice balance of personal and professional that are relevant and easily accessible, and these practices make this blog successful. The only thing I would improve would be to make the site a little more diverse to attract more viewers, and relate to the various cultures we are surrounded by. This could be achieved by having more diverse writers, still covering the same subject matter, just making it more inclusive to all because there is so much great information available on the site.
First We Feast is a blog where food, pop culture, and drinks converge. It is an interactive blog for the foodie with a an urban flare. There is information about the best foods in each of the United States, recipes, guides of places to eat, celebrities, and much more, that is what I love about this site. It love to eat and love to travel, this site makes it easy to narrow down the best places to eat while providing commentary from the most popular chefs today. They offer tutorial, and include videos of various contests and other information. You definitely have to be interested in urban culture to appreciate the site, and that may be a weakness, as well as all the other advertising on the page. The only thing that I would change is the amount of ads and probably the color schemes of the site to change the visual aspect.
